HMRC PAYE system error

and today a second employee informed me that they have just received a (PAYE) tax rebate. Having seen the calculation's from HMRC, they are nothing like those filled at the year end. I can only assume that the HMRC PAYE system has a problem.

Anyone else come across this one yet?
