HMRC Toolkits

HMRC Toolkits

Didn't find your answer?

I looked at them a while back but they seem to cover pretty basic stuff really. Are they designed for unrepresented taxpayers (or should I say, customers!!)?

We all do - of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What other reply could there be when, as I understand it, one of the questions asked in any enquiry will be, "Did you make use of the relevant Toolkit?"

Actually, there are quite informative, even if it is only to remind you of things that you already knew but that had temporarily overlooked.

Of course!

I've incorporated their questions into my various checklists and it only adds another minute or two onto each process. Like Nigel says, they are quite handy as a prompt. A fair number of the questions are often irrelevant but they make you stop & think and that's a good thing if you're stressed out and liable to forget the obvious.
