HMRC has asked to be allowed to legally break the speed limits for cars.
Obviously they must be worried that their responses rates are improving enormously if they feel they need these extra powers.

Covert surveillance?
HMRC wants the powers for covert surveillance of organised crime.
There's nothing "covert" about speeding around in unmarked cars - the surest way to bring attention to yourself I would have thought
