Hot takeaway food

I wrote a long post, then realised I have got the wrong end of the stick... I think. So a short question which may cause the reemergence of the long question!

The changes to the takeaway food VAT rules (I refuse to use the Sun's nickname for it), am I correct in thinking that they merely redefine what hot food means, and so the point at Group 1 (a) rgearding catering is unaffected and will still stand?

So a microwave in the corner is still evidence of a need to SR?
