Having problems claiming UK costs ie materials supplied and labour from UK against the French capital gain arising on a sale of a french property owned by an owner non resident in france.
Any ideas how to claim successfully??

What's the exact issue?
Is it the nature of the costs or simply the fact that they were incurred into UK? If the latter, surely that's inconsistent with EU law.
Yes you will need to explain the basis on which the claim is being resisted before anyone can help you.
The labour must presumably have been provided in France? Materials could perhaps have been purchased from UK suppliers and shipped over, but the labour could only have been provided in situ couldn't it? So it's the nationality of the contractors that's the problem is it? Never mind EU law - that's racism.
We can all apply logic and common sense to this but you are asking about questions of French law. I think you will need a French lawyer to help you.
