How do I turn my screen back the right way round???

How do I turn my screen back the right way...

Didn't find your answer?

Much as I smiled when I say my wife and 2 yr old pull up outside as I'm kicking my heels this week...................

My child has turned the orientation of my screen and I can't fix it. All he did was space bar and up arrow or somethign similar and now I can;t fix it.

Short of physically turning the screen 90 degrees the opposite way so that it's the right way up.

Can anyone help? I've even got to move the mouse up rather than left or vice versa. PITA

Serious question for APril 1st!!

Not space

Press Ctrl-Alt-Up arrow. Or down arrow if you want it upside down..or left arrow...

Brilliant

I'm going to try that trick on some unsuspecting souls!

Just a shame I don't share an office with anyone.

Beats the stapler in the briefcase or the kettle in the sports bag prank.

Do tell, I don't know those ones...

My favourite was swapping some keys around on a colleague's keyboard.  After 5 minutes of swearing as he tried to put his password in I took pity and explained...

Little things

I once altered the Excel settings for a co-worker so that there were no gridlines, no margin, no toolbars, no anything except a nearly blank screen. Her face was a picture but unfortunately I couldn't stop my smirk becoming a belly laugh.

Ah, such fun.

Don't try this at home!

I tried this just for fun and rapidly regretted it!.

There seemed to be a time delay. I pressed a few times. Thought it was not working then several seconds later, it started to work. Trying to get it back was impossible. It only seemed to work about 25% of the time and then only after a delay.

In the end, with the screen upside down, I managed to right click the desktop, graphics options, rotation and restored it!

Delay

Changing the screen orientation like this requires the graphics card to be reconfigured, which can take a while depending on type of card, power of computer etc.
