How many years accounts do you give new accountants?

How many years accounts do you give new accountants? Do you fill in long detailed questionaires from the new accountants?

Increasingly we have been asked to fill in long questionaires and provide several years accounts and working papers to new accountants when a client leaves us.

How much information do you think it is reasonable to provide to a new accountant? Does the Institue have any guidelines?
