How much can you claim per mile for business mileage in company car

How much can you claim per mile for business...

Didn't find your answer?

How much can you claim per for business usage in company car?

My client receives a company car but no fuel. He is reimbursed but at rate lower than HMRC approved mileage rates. Can he claim 45p for the 1st 10,000 miles and then 25p per mile over 10,000 miles less what he has been reimbursed or is there a lower approved rate for company car usage

14p per mile for 1400 - 2 ltr car

...it is lower than the 45p in your own car as part of the 45p is supposed to cover wear & tear on your vehicle which doesn't apply if company car provided.

HMRC

Have a great big link on their front page entitled "Agents and Advisors", and the linked page has a great big link entitled "Rates and allowances".

How hard is it?
