How much would you charge for due diligence for a share acquisition? The main concerns of the buyer are the property worth £3.5m and any liabilities. I'd be grateful.

If you are an accountant you probably won't be able to help much with the value of the property or whether the vendor has good title. So you will have to pass on that side of things. What you should charge for the other parts of the work depends on the size and complexity of the company in question, about which you provide no information.
Make a comprehensive list of items you would want to check each under a) legal, b) financial, c) accounting etc and estimate the number of hours involved, which when multiplied by your hourly rate will give you the approximate fee. Refine this value with reimbursements, if any, involved.
Agree with the above as a reasonable approach to drawing up your fee budget, except you shouldn't be doing the legal work if you are just an accountant - i.e. not a lawyer as well.
