I use Chrome internet browser and just recently I have had a problem with blank pages.
When I open a website and then, within that website, I need to click and open another sub-window that sub-window is blank. As an example, I open my bank website and then click on the link that says "Online Banking". This opens another window which is totally blank (apart from the frame at the top which has the name and the red cross).
Anyone any ideas on this one?
Many thanks.

Restore to default settings?
I don't know if this works but I would try this. Click the 3 lines at the top right --> Settings --> Show advanced settings at bottom of screen --> Scroll to the very bottom to restore default.
Chrome now blocks mixed content
It could be because Chrome recently stopped displaying insecure content that is trying to loaded in a secure https page. Instead, you would just get nothing. Saying it shows a red cross also indicates Chrome isn't happy about something.
A few versions ago you used to get a warning about 'displaying insecure content', but now they just don't even load it. That's good, because it is a big security loophole, but poor websites won't work.
Maybe try opening the page in Internet Explorer, as that still gives you a warning. If it does, then this is the issue. If not, it's something else!
Similar problem
Something similar happened to me using Chrome about two weeks ago. I found that one way round was to use Internet Explorer which is a workaround but not a long term solution.
I tried Google but nothing suggested worked and I suspect from comments above that this is a more general problem with Chrome that has recently arisen.
With any luck, the problem has been identified and they (ie Chrome) may find the answer.
