Intersted in seeing VendHQ in operating business

Intersted in seeing VendHQ in operating business

Didn't find your answer?

Hi,

I am looking for a new till system for two bars/restaurants based in Central London. After research VendHQ seems like the best option as it can be linked with Xero which we are using at the moment.

As good as it looks from internet research, I would like to see how it works in real life. Would there be any VendHQ users hospitality business that would let us visit them and see how is it going with till system.

Thank you!

Hello Orinta.

I have an associate who has just started using Vend and they have it tied in with Xero.

Unfortunately they probably wouldn't be receptive to providing a demonstration, but after helping them research various alternatives I think they made the right choice.

An awful lot of systems they looked at required significant investment both in terms of hardware and software.

As you know Vend has a low monthly fee and you can drive it using computers or tablets which can be put to alternative use should you ditch the system in the future.

The only downside they have found so far is that it all seems relatively new so when you Google an issue there often isn't much mention of things online.  The official Vend support is pretty swift though.

I'm sorry this doesn't answer your request entirely, but it is another vote for Vend.

Orinta

Make sure you have someone on hand who is good with computers, especially excel and CSV file formats.

I have a large Retail client which I just took over to Vend and this has been a nightmare.

After 4 weeks the Xero integration is still not working.

These systems are great but they are firstly computer software that  is developed and supported by software engineers who are not really that interested in your business.

Vend was a mistake and if I had it to do again I would use Retail Express who have support staff who actually speak to you.
