I work for a large vat registered company and we supply to vat registed customers. We always issue TAX invoices. One of our customers has asked us not to send our invoices and there is no self billing arrangement in place. My question is "Are we obligated to send tax invoices by law or does the customer retain the right/option to not receive these"?

You are required to send a VAT Invoice to a business customer, and to any customer on request.

... would a VAT-registered business want to deny themselves the opportunity to claim input VAT?
