Is it just me ...

Is it just me ...

Didn't find your answer?

Is it just me, or do others find Emails from HMRC to clients like the one below incredibly irritating.  Sent to me by a client who asked if there was anything in these allowances for him.

You may be able to save money if you are investing in your business assets

Do you know that there are a range of tax reliefs/allowances that you may be able to claim that could help save your business money?

Whether you are thinking of investing or buying assets for your business, or simply thinking of employing someone, there may be a tax relief or allowance that you are entitled to.

For instance, you may be able to save money if you are investing in your business assets with capital allowances https://www.gov.uk/capital-allowances

They don't go to every client

The emails only go to those who have signed up for the 'HMRC Business help and education emails'.

I suspect the emails are targeted at taxpayers who complete their own returns.

Delusions of grandeur!
It is just me ...

I must have inadvertently ticked or failed to untick a box when registering a client for some tax, so I was inundated with these two or three times a week.

I hope I have succeeded in unsubscribing!

Spam box

I got one, so I must have clicked something somewhere. No matter, it goes in the spam box on my email client, along with about 20 others a day. My habit is to glance at things in there & decide if it is worth more than just a glance.
