iXBRL Accounts in Euro's

iXBRL Accounts in Euro's

Didn't find your answer?

I wonder if anyone has come across this.

We are preparing accounts in Euro's for a limited company.   We understand that HMRC will require a sterling corporation tax comp.  If we produce iXBRL accounts in Euro's then I expect HMRC would reject these and also we would have issues tagging these.  So I am anticipating that we will need to run iXBRL accounts in sterling.

Has anyone had experience of this to be able to confirm?

Many Thanks

The acceptability of accounts is none of HMRC's business. That's a matter for Companies House.  If HMRC reject accounts that Companies House have accepted (or, as the case may be, reject the full version of accounts that CH have accepted the abbreviated version of) tell them to take a running jump.

If HMRC require the CT return to be in £Stg, as I believe they will, then that of course is what you must provide them with.
