I am thinking of getting a personalised registration plate with my initials on it. I resigned my ACCA membership a few years ago and I know I am not allowed to pass myself off, on my correspondence, as holding the qualification. I am planning to have my initials on my registration plate plus FCC8 so that it will look like FCCA. Does anyone think that the ACCA would have any comeback against me for having this plate? I will be using the car for both my businesses which will include visiting my accountancy clients.

ACCA will likely pursue you for this.
You could easily be looking at jail time of up to 25 years.
FCA?
I suppose it might depend what you say when someone asks you what the significance of your unusual number plate is.
Wouldn't FCA be easier and clearer to fit into a number plate?
Make your mind up
Either the letters have value to you, in which case you should be paying for membership, or they don't. Make your mind up which it is and stick with it.
Trying to get the value of the letters this way without paying the cost of membership is ethically indefensible, regardless of what legal action ACCA could take against you.
Special registration
presumably there is a special issue of registration plates today which will enable you to have two (or more) initials plus FCC8?
Available until noon?
Consequences ?
because the car I have bought has an Irish plate. Obviously I don't want to risk the consequences of that .........
Consequences ? What exactly would they be ?
Half the personalised plates round here have a Z in them, so they do.
ACCA will have comeback on anyone using "ACCA", or any other combination of those letters anywhere in their car number plate.
Hmm

Now that's just CACA.
NO14TAX
is already in my area.
Cute trick!
For the OP I gather that AP R1 FOL wasn't available?
@cheekychappy
If you are 20 stone and called Richard, this number plate may be desirable.
