Keytime Payroll and Accounts Software

Keytime Payroll and Accounts Software

Didn't find your answer?

We are a small/medium independant accountancy practice and am looking at changing our payroll and accounts program package, we are currently running a payrolls for just over 100 clients and about 250 for accounts preparation, we have been looking at using Keytime, does anyone use them and have any advice.

Thanks

Thumbs up from me

I have been using Keytime for a few years now having previously been using Iris.

I am so thankful I changed to Keytime when I did as I love the software, the cost is much less than Iris, Sage, etc and should you ever need to use the customer services then the technical team are immediately on hand to help and are very friendly and knowledgeable about their software and IT in general.

I do not have quite as many clients as you (maybe one day) but I have no doubt Keytime will meet your needs and you'll not regret changing over to them.

I use Keytime for accounts production, corporation tax and personal tax so I can't comment on the payroll side of things but I don't have a bad word to say about the products I use.

Keytime are constantly improving their software by adding new features and by adding other products too so I expect further benefits in the future.

Keytime

We have been using Keytime for a few years now.  I learned using Iris but am reluctant to pay their fees.  We used Digita for a while which we were happy with but found the increases hefty to add new users.  We didn't get on with VT but many do.

We use Keytime for Accounts Production, Personal Tax and Corporation Tax.  The integration works very well.  When we have had the odd problem which support have been really good at sorting.  Often calls answered really quickly.

We have also suggested improvements some of which have been implemented.

As for payroll we have not used Keytime for this simply because Moneysoft is such a good product for such a good price.

Another vote from me

We use keytime for accounts and tax for around 500 clients and it works well for us. The pricing is also reasonable compared to Iris etc although it is by 'seat' so it may depend on how many users you need.

I would echo Morgani's comments on their support, who are excellent. We also use Moneysoft for payroll though as it's so simple to process multiple 'one man band' payrolls.

I'm so glad I've read this!

We are also a small practice and use IRIS but have recently had a Keytime demo and hope to make the switch very soon.  IRIS took some getting used to and it's familiar now so easy to use but the costs are too much.

I like how Keytime is unlimited clients so you don't have to worry about growing your client base ;)
