Whilst not wanting to hijack the other question on late registration of a partnership, I have a similar query.
Existing partnership. Dad and Son.
Son's girlfriend joined the partnership towards the end of 2014. And she really did and does work there.
Forms were completed by me to add Miss to the partnership but they never came back from client and I never chased.
Is it still the case of an SA400 and SA401 for everyone? Even the Dad (often on holiday) and son?
I see I can complete and SA401 for Miss "on-line" although I fear it'll just tell me to press print and then post?
How come one can register for SA wholly on-line if they're a sole trader, but not if a partner?
How naughty would it be for Miss to apply on-line (maybe tell HMRC she's self employed????), get a UTR, I can the do the partnership and 3 x partner TRs including me advising on Miss's tax return that she's not self employed after all?

Structured email SA401
If the person is not the nominated partner you can just use this SA401 online structured email equivalent: https://online.hmrc.gov.uk/shortforms/form/SA401
