Legislation access for part-time sole practitioner?

Legislation access for part-time sole...

Didn't find your answer?

I am after some advice please.

I am in the process of starting up as a sole practitioner following maternity leave/ career break. I am CTA and CA and will be completing fairly basic self assessment tax returns - probably nothing more complicated than a couple of rental properties and child benefit higher income charges. I am going to be working part-time, about 3 mornings a week, and have no more than about 50 clients.

However, I would still like access to up-to-date legislation and technical commentary, is there a good CHEAP provider? The legislation.co.uk website doesn't seem to carry up to date legislation….

TIA!

Hello Catkins

I am also a sole practitioner similar in scale to your set up.

I have a 2 year old set of Tolleys Yellow Books, subscribe to Nichola Ross Martin and ICAEW tax faculty. That about covers most issues.

What costs were you thinking of?
