Limited company balance sheet signatory

Limited company balance sheet signatory

Didn't find your answer?

A Limited company is a Director.

Do we need to show the corporate representative as signatory on the balance sheet, on behalf of the Limited company who is the Director?

i.e.

Mr Fred Bloggs on behalf of XYZ Limited (Director).

or

Mr Fredd Bloggs (Corporate Representative of XYZ Limited)

I think so and so does the technical helpline, but our software providers do not!

Many thanks

Sorry, been on holiday!

Jersey, lovely.  My understanding is that any director can be appointed  by the board to sign the accounts.  I may be wrong/out of date; hopefully someone will confirm or contradict me.
