Looking for subcontract work!

Looking for subcontract work!

Didn't find your answer?

I am on the lookout for a bit of subcontracting work (book-keeping, accounts, VAT, CT, tax returns, anything really!) as work for me is quite sparse at the moment.

I think I may have mentioned this but my wife has been in hospital for around a year or so but thankfully is now home so it's time to build my practice up again after having to let a lot of clients go due to my situation.

I am therefore looking for a bit of subcontract work for the short-term while I slowly build the practice back up.

I am very flexible as to what I do and how I do it but just so you know I currently use VT for accounts, FreeAgent for book-keeping, Taxfiler for tax returns and Moneysoft for payroll but as I say am more than flexible!

If anyone on here is interested in me doing a bit of subcontracting for them or indeed knows anyone that is I would love to hear.

I am based in the Hampshire/Sussex area but obviously with so much being done online now I don't think it would cause too many problems to have work from further afield!

I am already in contact with someone who has offered me some work which is fantastic but the more the merrier as they say at the moment!

Glad things are beginning to turn around

I was very sorry to hear your wife was ill when you told us a while ago. A whole year of being in hospital must have been devasting for her and a nightmare for you with all the travelling and family duties.

I was just trying to picture the situation for you and decided it would have been really terrible.

I don't have anything for you myself, but I'm about to visit the Entrepreneurs Circle conference in Birmingham. There are people there from all over the country. If I see someone from your area who looks like they could do with your help I'll pass on your details. I agree that they don't have to be local to you, but most people seem to want the local touch.

I know that if you can just get in front of a prospect it's relatively easy for you to get signed up - your personality goes before you.

Hiya jaybee,

Hiya jaybee,

So glad to hear your wife is home.

If you're looking for subcontracting work we often get people seeking subcontractors on our Opportunities section. Similarly, you're welcome to post there too. I hope you find something.

Rachael
