Losses incurred by money lender
If a customer of a money-lending company defaults and the debt becomes irrecoverable, can we always rely on the trading nature of the loan to justify treating the loss as a trading loss? I can't see why not, but grateful for any comments.
Also, is money-lending the same as 'banking' for EIS purposes, and so an excluded activity?
Many thanks.
