This isn't so much a question as a warning!
Recently I set up a new company for a client all filed and correct through Companies House. My client has since received a very official looking letter from "New Companies Register (Digital) based in London, requesting £37.50 fee for inclusion on "their" register and includes bank details for online payment etc. the letter head even has the CH new logo although the lion & unicorn are transposed. My client was about to pay, but phoned to ask me about a couple of other things and just mentioned in passing. Needless to say I said NO don't pay them. I have phoned companies house this morning, they are aware of these letters going out to new companies, nothing to do with them and they are investigating.
Please warn your clients with new companies as most won't think twice about £37.50 fee and the letter looks very convincing.

Never heard of this one (yet).
If it's like the trade marking ones you get from Poland, there may be small print at the bottom that says 'this is not an invoice'.
Always ignored them, but still made my blood boil every time one arrived through the letter box.
similar scam
and this time the invoice is for £190 from www.regist.co.uk sent to client a couple of days after incorporation.
