Non resident directors loan account

Non resident directors loan account

Didn't find your answer?

Director qualifies as non-resident in the UK has an NT tax code and does not have to pay NIC.

Previous CT600 submitted included a loan to him of £16092 but s455 tax was not paid as 2 was completed stating it was cleared on 01.06.2012. He has not paid this loan back to the company and no dividend has been allocated to his DLA to repay it as he has been paid all dividends declared.

If the loan was written off I presume it would be treated as income received by the director and include on his SA100. As he qualifies for non-residency would he not pay tax tax on it?
