Note taking on the Ipad

Note taking on the Ipad

Didn't find your answer?

I am interested in others thoughts on note taking using the iPad during client meetings. I have used Note Taker HD and Penultimate in the past but find mysefl frustrated at the speed I can write with and indeed the size of the notes when using a stylus (too large) and more times than not I seem to revert to the good old pen and paper. I'm sure that there is a better solution as I would like to use the iPad in this way. I have in the past asked a similar question of this community, but I wondered if things have moved on any since I last asked this.

If anyone has a recommendation that they could offer up I would be really grateful, thanks.

Noteshelf
I makes my client meeting notes on Ipad using Noteshelf. In the main I am happy with this app though it does take time to get used to it.

I really do not mind pages of notes as a result of bigger writing. Speed has not been a problem.

Please persist with ipad and get used to writing on ipad.

Have a look at the Galaxy Note 10.1 with a built in S-pen?

Evernote

Have a look at Evernote - http://evernote.com/

It's free for basic use and can capture sound and images as well as typed/written text.  I prefer to type rather than use the stylus on my galaxy device, as I find it quicker and more practical.

It also has versions for a PC so you it will synchronise all your files in the background.  Take notes at a client meeting and by the time you are back at your desk they have copied across to your PC.

Hope that helps,
Jon Stanton
