Letter in today from HMRC, dated 29/10/15 enquiry in to a client - detailed information required by 27th November.
Client (different one) dropped in DMB letter dated 16th October received at weekend. Called HMRC said appeal lodged 21st SEPTEMBER, told response should should be made by 23rd November.
So we get just over three weeks from receipt of letter to supply detailed information, copy documents etc. they get 2 months to acknowledge, not give a decision mind, just acknowledge, an appeal!

about giving them a deadline when we write which will be equally as unrealistic as the ones they give us
