Partnership split up

A partnership split up in may 2012 and one of the partners ( the one who walked away) has a solititor now and fights againgst the other partner. I got a letter from his solicitors asking for accounts, asstes, liabilites, etc. The last set of accounts was prepated until 31/03/11. 2012 is not ready yet. The parthership owes me money - do I have to deal with the solicitors? Thank you
