Payments to Companies House?

Payments to Companies House?

Didn't find your answer?

I have an account with Companies House where I put my annual return fees on there however there doesnt seem to be an option to pay the invoice amount by any other than cheque?  I sent them an email last month and didnt get a response so ended up paying by cheque but I would much rather do it via internet banking if I could!  Has anyone had any success in getting the bank details to make payment?

Direct Debit

Call them up to set up a direct debit. That is how we pay.

I've paid online

I paid annual returns fees using my personal credit card in the past, but I'm sure I could use my company debit card the next time I do some filing.

Could it be the Cos House had a problem the last time you needed to pay online?

With an account...

you can call them. Then their finance team will call you back and you can pay by debit / credit card.

Ours are paid by direct debit, had no problem with it to date, apart from when we changed banks and they didn't transfer the direct debit!

Thanks I'll give them a call and set up a direct debit.

Moonbeam - Im talking about settling my account via BACS/internet banking, not for individual transactions.

BACS

I pay off the monthly account by BACS. CH will give you the sort + a/c.

Sorry!

I completely ignored the bit about an account, so I'm sorry for the misunderstanding

Paying them by Debit Card

I wanted to pay by Barclays Visa debit card, as I had always done in the past, but when it came to it this time the CH site for payment was pre populated and assumed my old number was still to be used.  As this card and its number was changed to a new one recently I couldn't pay it.  I had to ring CH and pay it.
