Not in the cloud but...
I have a client who uses this and the program is on a local machine and the data on a server somewhere else in the building - for data security and backup purposes.
We do find that the program runs slowly and often pauses whist some data is transferred. Remember it saves as it goes (which is good). I imagine it's the same issue (possibly made worse by a not so quick up load speed?).
Patience is required but data has been secure and correct
When we moved our data to a server I noticed a slight delay in files opening compared to when it was on my machine but assume this is just because there are more wires and stuff (thats the technical term by the way) for the data to travel through so having your payroll files in the cloud is just asking for trouble by the time you pass through the thunder, rain and lightening and then your wires on top of that!
Depends what you mean by on the cloud
I've been trialling Moneysoft with Dropbox for the last few weeks. It works perfectly
Cloud providers, like Dropbox, sync all the files to your machine, so opening them is like opening a file that's stored on your machine
