Hi ya there all,
I have a query regarding payroo software, although the main payroll, is practically faultless so far having just migrated from a another system, I have noticed the following:
The Employer allowance indicator box is ticked and double checked, however once payroll is submitted, The old p32 summary report does not show the reduced culmative amount payable. It Just shows the standard Employer Nics payable to HMRC.
Q1) Is this correct? and if not? what am I overlooking?
Any help would be massively appreciated, having scoured every inch of payroo's help and HMRC website for answers.. without much luck..
It appears that the instructions for using payroo are quite outdated for this tax year.. or perhaps I'm being nitpicky..
Many thanks

I think you are OK
I use Payroo too but I don't think this is a Payroo issue.
If you have filed an EPS to tell HMRC that you are taking up the Employer Allowance then (I think) all payrolls still calculate the ERNI that would be due but you simply underpay HMRC by the ERNI each month until the £2000 threshold of underpayment is reached. Then, you start to pay them the ERNI once again.
Note you do have to file the EPS or HMRC will simply think you are under-paying.
Edit: See http://faq.webpayrolltraining.co.uk/4700.htm

My P32
Hi
The following columns of my P32 have figures (i.e. are not Zero in month one):
Gross NICs - Pre- Employment Allowance (col 5)Employment Allowance used (Employer NIC only) (col 6)Net NICs (Less Employment Allowance used) (col 17).
Not sure if that helps!
Edit: have you definitely filed an EPS?
Captain
Check the EPS
I can confirm that I have figures in the blue column (col 6).
May I suggest you check the content of the EPS that you filed (you can view it on the screen as a PDF) and make sure that the Employer Allowance indicator is set to YES.
My only other thought is that I filed the EPS before I ran the month one payroll whereas you did it afterwards.
Beyond that I am struggling as to where to direct you. An e-mail to support seems the best bet.
Best of luck!
