PII-Part time practice

PII-Part time practice

Didn't find your answer?

I will be getting my practising certificate from the ACCA soon. I will be starting my practice part time as I will be working full time i.e. less than £5k fees per year.

Does anyone have any recommendations for good value PII providers?

I am already considering joining the ICPA which would include PII among other benefits but wanted to get an idea of costs.

Thanks in advance

Gameplan

It was a recommendation in the ball park I was thinking for a full time practice. The figure quoted by TaxAssist in their prospectus is £200 but I will get some quotes to see if being part time makes a difference at all (not sure it will due to different risks). Happy to send you a PM if you want, once I have some quotes.

Me too

I am also in the same position as you and also intend becoming an ICPA member.

I have been informally advised that the greater of 3 times annual fees or 20 times biggest annual fee is usually a good guide, but depends on risk within client base.

My accountancy body strongly recommends taking expert advice from a PII provider.
