I have several clients who want straightforward IHT advice - nothing complicated like trusts. Sizes of estates in region of £800k - £1m per couple, with good prospects (hopefully!) of surviving 7 years but who want to start giving away more than the annual limit.
I know the basics but know I could do with brushing up, especially on planning options like skipping a generation, investing in AIM share for BPR, I could also do with some real basic practicalities like should gifts be documented, to help ensure escaping IHT if donor survives 7 years.
Please can anyone recommend a book to me that won't go into anything too complicated.

IHT Advice
Good Evening,
Mr Brother is an RDR ready IFA who plans for IHT, amungst other things. . Don't forget to include the value of Life Insurance in that calculation, unless it is already assiged to the appropriate trust.
Indicator are doing a good book on IHT, for an essential guide. . I beleive it is £53. . .
Where are you based? An IFA should be able to review the IHT position and plan accordingly. . .
My telephone number is 07866 777741 or [email protected]
Kind Regards
Nick
