I am trying to locate practices which are open on saturdays. They should be based in London. Please indicate the branch if applicable.
Thanks all.

open on a saturday
I can see you on Saturday.
Is this a business proposition or are you seeking accountancy services?
What is your phone number? Thank you.
Kind regards,
Put up or......
Why should we give you any of this information on a public forum? It is a business proposition, however, I am looking for an accountancy practice which is open on Saturdays in London. Do you own a practice? Are you a qualified accountant experienced in ALL aspects of accountancy? Are you able to handle reconciliations - vat reconciliations for balance sheet and p&l, stock reconciliations, tax reconciliations, paye reconciliations, etc? Please let me know. Thanks
This is like walking into a job interview and insisting that they give you complete access to all the business records before you'll consider answering any of their questions. If you have serious proposition, then make a serious proposition. If you're not prepared to do that, don't be surprised when no-one is interested.
"I have gotten a few clients
"I have gotten a few clients on the basis i’m studying AAT but I must admit I hardly know what i’m doing"."
Hopefully you are giving away your clients?
Theory
Now I'm starting to feel sorry for Gail.
I can only speculate, but my take on it is that Gail needs a mentor, and is willing to enter into a commercial arrangement for the stuff she struggles with. I can see that reconciliation work is not her strong point.
If she is trying to improve herself let's not be harsh. Isn't that what we are all trying to do?
Come on Gail - am I right (or am I right)?
Some footwork needed
Thank you for sharing the detail. Now that it is clear you are trying to improve your lot, I must apologise for coming across as a bit harsh. This is the risk of communicating solely by text on a screen. There are studies that show that, as a result of the lack of visual cues from facial expressions, ambiguous text is usually read with the worst interpretation. Your mention of a business proposition, followed by a list of queries made it sound like you thought you had a brilliant idea and were seeking an accountant worthy of bestowing it on. This is clearly not the case. Thanks for all your kind comments. I have read the feedback and realize that I have to be more precise regarding what i'm after.
I think you need to put together something akin to a CV, that shows what you have to offer. I know that you have been studying AAT in the past, and presumably have done it off your own bat if you are not working in accountancy currently. That shows initiative and that is a good thing. Then I think you need to do some research and find a list of accountants in the geographical area you would be willing to work in. The areas of knowledge you require are fairly broad, and the sort of things most practices would deal with, so don't focus on that too much.
Then I think you need to take a few days off and go and speak to those firms. Provided you aren't too pushy, most will give you some time akin to a brief initial client meeting. As has already been said, where there are people that work on a Saturday, this is usually to get things done when things are quiet. Those that work on a Saturday already are therefore less likely to invite someone into that quiet time. What you need to do is convince someone that giving up some of that Saturday is worthwhile. Promote what you can do, so there is an immediate possible upside for them, but make it clear mentoring is part of the deal. It is up to you whether to do it for free, but I would advise you not to offer to pay for the experience. Also look at doing half-days rather than full days. You still need some time off, and they won't want a six-day week either.
Good luck. Not in London so cannot be of more practical help.
Good luck
I think your best option is to ring around. Most accountants who work Saturdays do so to either get new clients or because they want a bit of peace to get on with things so you may find it difficult.
I admire your efforts.
I agree with Tosie
Good luck I hope things work out for you
I work Saturdays, but this is a catch up with no distractions - I would not want to be training someone from scratch during these hours. Hopefully there are practises out there that think differently though
