Quarterly PAYE

Quarterly PAYE

Didn't find your answer?

Can any kind soul point me in the direction of where (on HMRC's website) to apply to pay PAYE quarterly ?

I don't use it much but it's appropriate for this new employer I've just registered.

No need to apply

There is no need to apply, as long as the quarterly payments are under £1,500 you can just pay quarterly.

quarterly PAYE

Actually, you can pay quarterly if the average monthly payment would have been under £1,500

Even better

It's loads under that.

To be honest, I wouldn't like to allow a client to build it up that much.  £4500 a quarter is suddenly a lot to find for some of my clients.

Thanks, Euan.

On a slightly different note, I see that you no longer have to tell HMRC if nothing is due.

Indeed it is

.... and they knew last year but you still had to send in a nil payslip.

This change is from April 2014.
