recommend a commercial software supplier

recommend a commercial software supplier

Didn't find your answer?

Hi All,

Can anybody recommend a commercial software supplier to file Partnership returns and Limited company accounts too. Something not too pricey as we are a very small company and user friendly.

Absolute

I have some Top up tax licences which can be used for Individual, Partnership and Ltd company filing, and the mix can change from year to year

How small is small? Or, to put it another way, how many returns are you planning to do?

Absolute is perfect if you just have the odd company or partnership - it is simple to use and flexible.

If you want to do more than 20 or so company and/or partnership returns then maybe look at a Taxfiler subscription which is great on a low budget because you pay monthly, and works out cheaper than Absolute for a larger number of returns.

There are lots of other good and cheap alternatives so search the site for recommendations.

Absolute query

Does absolute deal with (create) both the CT600 and the iXBRL accounts?

ie, it is important with iXBRL filing (CT) to establish if the iXBRL accounts are one software and the iXBRL CT600 another = two lots of software costs - that's the way it is with, for example Fasttax - Fasttax can only create comps / CT600 so then additional costs have to be incurred with something like VT accounts.

On the otherhand Taxfiler (@£10+VAT per month for 50 returns) is said to create CT600 + iXBRL accounts - one software cost.   It would be good if Absolute (and other software) was like Taxfiler in this respect since it is an imposition to incur the costs of two software products for a CT filing exercise.

Gbooks is pretty good and is cloud based. So no discs or downloads to install.
