RTI and income from which tax is deducted

RTI and income from which tax is deducted

Didn't find your answer?

Before RTI, clients who had tax deducted at source didn't have to make their monthly PAYE deduction payment but under RTI HMRC are chasing our clients for payment even though we have ticked the eps box.. We speak to RTI and they say speak to CIS department, who say nothing to do with us we are not RTI trained, speak to RTI. The usual pass the buck. Anyone else having similar problems?

No problem for us

We file an amending EPS, showing the CIS tax suffered on the company's income, after the FPS each month.  I don't know what you mean by "we have ticked the eps box" - it must be something specific to your payroll software - but it is necessary actually to file the EPS.

I assume that the clients concerned are limited companies.
