Does anyone else have this problem?
When I double click on a bank account, or nominal account, or customer or supplier account in the relevant list the Windows file explorer opens.
Any ideas?
Thanks

A guess
You probably need to call Sage over this one.
I do not know of any settings that would cause this behavior. My guess is that a programme call to open a child window within Sage has become corrupted and is launching Explorer instead.
I expect a backup and reinstallation will need to be done, but check with Sage first.

It could be that you have restored data from a removable drive (e.g. memory stick) but instead of relocating data on your hard drive you have set Sage to work with the data on the removable drive. If the drive is not connected Sage will (I think) open Windows explorer so that you can locate the data manually.
To get round this (using a multi-company version) I first create a new company on a PC (no need to be too fussy as whatever you do will be overwritten when you restore the backup) with no removable drive connected. Having created the new company I open it, plug in the removable drive, and use the restore data option within the open new company on Sage to bring the data into the right place.
