Sage data

Sage data

Didn't find your answer?

Hi

I am looking at making sage run faster and was wonder we have 4080 deleted transactions in the financials is they a way to delete them?

Also I don't think we have ever compressed the data and they is 225000 transactions if we compress the data before a certain date will the invoices still show up on the customer and supplier accounts?

Thanks

Compress will not remove any transactions, it removes deleted records (other than transactions) from the data files.  So, for example, if you delete a customer account then it remains in the data files but is flagged as deleted, it is only removed from the data file when you run Compress.

To remove transactions you need to run the Clear Audit Trail routine which removes fully paid and reconciled transactions up to the data that you enter.  They will no longer appear anywhere in the program so they will not show up on the customer and supplier accounts.
