Has anyone else received scam email pretending it to be from AW about being a premium member of AW? I have forwarded the email to Henry.
Not sure if this is a scam since it is from AW US.
How did they get my email address?

This forum has already covered how to obtain your email address in a previous thread from all the hints you have provided about location etc. All someone has done is possibly joined up the dots
Also from a number of your posts on AWeb it is apparent that in some areas you are a 'newbie .." and with this in mind possibly fair game for these people
This is made even more apparent by the fact that you have published the SCAM email with ALL THE SCAM LINKS INCLUDED
Therefore you have instantly breached the AWeb T&C's and are yourself promoting the SCAM
NO-ONE SHOULD CLICK ON THE LINKS INCLUDED IN YOUR ORIGINAL POSTING

Scam email
Hi all
Thank you for removing the copy of the email.
I can confirm that this email has not come from us or from our US team who run AccountingWeb.com.
Our IT team is currently looking into this and trying to establish what's happened and where the email orginated.
If anyone else received the email (It begins: Dear Premium service member, Thank you for becoming Premium member! Please find attached the invoice.....) please let me know. It'll help us establish the extent of the problem and how many people are likely to have been affected.
