Self [***]. Return

Didn't find your answer?

Hello There,

I have a client whose Expenses are more then what they have earned for the Tax year 2013/14, when I plugged the numbers in the reached the end of the HMRC online tax return, to see the Calculations, it showed a zero balances !! Should that be correct ?

Kind Regards

What the hell else would you expect?

No income = no tax.

Zeros not displayed.

The HMRC's computation does not generally display lines with zero balances, other than some totals.

As there is no trading profit there will be no "income from self employment" line displayed, and probably not much else.

Trading

You can get a rudimentary trading account - and rent account - earlier in the process.  Never bother with it myself as it's just pointless information.

But, if you're into pointless information - fine.
