Social Security Rights Working in Norway

Social Security Rights Working in Norway

Didn't find your answer?

Hi

I had a client who worked in Norway a few years ago as an individual, he had to pay Employers NI.  I now have a owner limited company who pays himself minimum wage and dividends.  His new contract will be in Norway.  I have info from a specialist advising that he needs to apply and receive an A1 form to get an exception from paying Norwegian National Insurance as he is paid UK salary between £600-£1000.

Can anyone advise the implications for submitting the A1 form.  I have read that sometimes more tax is paid if the A1 form is submitted but i cannot see how.

Thanks in advance.
