Hello all
I know this is an oft repeated question so I've been putting off asking!
I'm FMAAT and work in management accounts, but also look after the accounts of two family companies in my free time. What would be best for me, with no practice experience, to prepare and submit final accounts and tax returns for two (micro) Ltd companies maintained in Sage 50? I guess I need something with a wizard that will walk me through as I know enough to be dangerous, but not enough to put it all together without help!
I had planned to outsource this part, and get the reassurance of someone else looking over my work, but unfortunately I need to keep costs to a minimum... :-(
Cheers!
Pat

Joint filing service
Hi - if the numbers are reasonably straight forward then have a go at the Government's Joint Filing Serice where you fill out an accounts template as part of the Tax Return submission to HMRC and the accounts submission to Cos House.
To be honest if you can understand and use S*** 50 this should be a doddle.
Yes, if moneys an issue then HMRCs online filing is as free as they come but it is laborious if your not familiar with it
Stat accounts
Hi,
email me [email protected] and i'll put both into full/abbrev statutory format (pdf) and also supply the iXbrl files for HMRC. £75.
First Choice Final Accounts
For £10 you can get a licence for a single entity version of First Choice Final Accounts, which is a fully fledged Accounts production package with which you can create full statutory accounts, iXBRL files and can efile abbreviated accounts to Companies House.
