I would say I'm an Excel geek and there's not much I haven't seen or done in a spreadsheet. But I have received a spreadsheet from a client who is based in the middle east and his spreadsheet has the cell A1 in the top right corner. So the columns are basically back to front and the row numbers are on the right hand side of the screen. It's completely doing my head in! Does anyone know how to switch it back around?
Many Thanks

Depending on your version of excel
In Excel 2010:
File - Options - Advanced - Display - default direction and tick Left-to-Right
In Excel 2003:
Tools - Options - International - and tick left to right
Hope that does the trick for you.
For 2007
Apparently that option only appears if a right to left language is installed (so Google tells me!).
A workaround which may be more useful anyway if this is going to be a regular occrrence:
Office Button - Excel Options - Customize - Page Layout tab under "Choose Commands from" - Right to left Document and Add
This will put a button on the QAT which will toggle the column order.
