A locally owned (UK) company is bought by a Guernsey company. The Guernsey company owns residential property in the UK in addition to the investment in the UK company.
Once the UK company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Guernsey company, can the Guernsey company transfer its residential properties into the UK company and avail of group relief for stamp duty purposes?
