In regards to HMRC's authorisation process, I have a query regarding the registration of clients that are PAYE employees only.
If a 64-8 is submitted to HMRC in relation to an Income Tax client (no previous Self-Assessment history and therefore having no UTR) how does one determine whether the authorisation has been processed? Does the new client appear somewhere in the Agent's online account (as with authorised SA clients) or does the Agent have to contact HMRC to determine whether the authorisation has been processed in such a case?
