Tax figure on HMRC log in

Tax figure on HMRC log in

Didn't find your answer?

We had submitted tax return for the client well before the deadline and client has also paid his tax for tax year 2013-14.

But HMRC has not yet updated the tax liability figure for 2013-14 and the client account shows re payment due.

Has any one else having same problem?

checked online and it is showing the tax return was received on same day that we had submitted through third party soft ware. But the tax figure still remains unchanged. Have you had similar experience?

"Well before"

How long is "well before" ?

It's not instant but I've not encountered a delay of more than a few days, if that.

Still showing?

The return creates a liability as at 31 January and I have seen a variety of consequences over the years

Some examples are Income tax repayment due and repaid but CGT liability due 31/1.

Balancing payment due 31/1 but due to small payments on account a September payment was repaid.

Update after 4 days

I submitted a tax return on the 31.01.15 but on the 3.02 was still outstanding, they changed it only on the 4.02 it might have been a backlog of submissions.
