Tax implication on superannuation

Tax implication on superannuation

Didn't find your answer?

Hi,

I have a new client who works for the NHS. I have his P60, does the taxable income shown in his P60 is after superannuation? i.e. Do I have to claim his supperannuation payment though his tax return or not?

Thanks

No further claim needed

Superannuation is taken under a Net Pay Scheme Arrangement so relief is achieved at source.

A quick check on lower/middle level salaries is that the year to date differs for tax and nic.

Thank you very much for he advice. My client's taxable salary is £124k and there is underpayment of £3k based on P60 figures, and I was wondering whether the superannuation has an implication.
