tax insider

tax insider

Didn't find your answer?

I was searthing a Web for a tax tips book (saw an article in relation to one a few months back but cannot find the article) and came accross tax insider instead. has anyone else used or is using this? If so what are your views?

what I am looking for in particular is a book/ source material that I can read and refer to. so any other 'tax saving' books around would be useful. If anyone can direct me to another members published book (something sounding like 67 tax tips) that would also be useful.

also looking for some reading material on enhancing businesses.

many thanks.

It depends what you are looking for.

If you are looking for bite size tax tips then yes.

If you are looking for indepth tax guidance aimed at a tax practitioner then no.

Tax Insider vs Indicator FL Memo Tips & Advice Tax
Following with interest. I have a huge amount of respect for articles written by the managing editor of Tax Insider, Mark McLaughlin, so hope a recent subscriber will comment.

As we are all being bombarded with the Tips & Advice Tax free issues, much of which appears to be a simplified reminder of familiar tax planning ideas, I wondered:
a) what the free 7" Android tablet is! (son's has just died a cracked screen death)
b) are the free issues sent to us still the best tips they have in the drawer
c) any thoughts on the sister publication, Tax for Professionals
d) have the publishers pulled their socks up since the 2009 'just lie' debacle (covered in a previous thread)

Tips & Advice Tax

Thanks for your comments above.

Many tax practitioners do, in fact, subscribe to Tips & Advice Tax as it fills a gap in the market. However, like all publications, it does have its limitations - the one article per page format means that some times we can't go as far as we'd like.

Which is why we developed Tax for Professionals. Over 12 pages we're able to explore subjects in much more detail and provide "follow up" support. The two products actually complement each other.

You can try it free of charge for three months http://lite.indicator.co.uk/taxpro/subscribe
