Tax software not requiring HMRC logon

Having recently installed Taxcalc after years in a bigger practice using CCH I was disappointed to find out that the client must apply for an HMRC logon before I can file the self assessment tax return.  This means new clients who require a return to be filed close to deadline date have to wait for the logon to arrive which takes 7-10 days.  With CCH I could file directly from the software straight to HMRC without needing a logon.  Unfortunately I can't afford CCH now I'm a much smaller practice.

What other tax software is there for a small practice for which you don't need the client's HMRC logon as I can see this is going to be a problem in the future?
