Is there a mind blowing marketing letter?

Next week I will start a weekly mail shot to businesses in my area.

I am looking for a marketing letter that would get some attention. The mail shot would be targeted to limited companies offering compliance services. I am also open to ideas on this. 

I would be grateful for any help/pointers on the marketing letter. Where would I find good templates for these that are not targeted at the American market?
