I currently use Sage Time and Fees. But I'm going to have to stop using this because Sage will stop supporting Windows XP when Microsoft do next March, and the software will not run on Windows 7 64bit. This is a shame because the software has worked well for me over the years and it has made me a lot of money because, before I got it, I had no idea how long a job had actually taken me
So what I need is software with a time recorder (stopwatch type thing) that I can enter my clients into then set going when I start on a clients work, stop when I've finished and save to a weekly timesheet. I then need to be able to print or email the timesheet for each client, then mark that time as billed.
Networkable over 2 PC's would also be an advantage
I don't need anything flashy and don't need a ledger system or invoicing ability, just simple time recording and preferably cheap or even better, free

Studiometry
I've used Studiometry by Oranged Software for years - http://www.oranged.net/studiometry It's networkable but also has a sync capability for entries made when you're offline and there's a mobile app (iPhone/iPad). I've only ever used it for time recording although there's also a large number of project management style features.
We use...
Harvest - getharvest.com I think is the domain.
All cloud based and reasonably priced. We have all our clients set up with different projects and then tasks - very decent bit of kit.
You can do the stopwatch thing - and it has an iphone app, windows gadget and also integrates with Chrome - all of which all of our team use.
Time fees software for Accountants
One of our customers, an accounting firm in Ireland, had the same problem with Sage Time and Fees and asked us if we could come up with a replacement as they were already using our accounting software. We wrote a time fees module as part of our CRM software based on their specification. If you still haven't found a solution, let me know and we can show you a copy.
